A PLACE LIKE MINES
From birth on up to 15 years of age, I’ve lived in a small town known as Turrell. Where there isn’t much but something that means much to someone. Every year of life explains who I am and how I became who I am. Doing things that I know I will regret made me overcome all obstacles and made me an even better person.
I went to a school where there was much drama and my name was always in it. My grandma and my mama tried to tell me all the time that I hang around the wrong people but I guess I was too young to understand anything. I was caught up in many things. Always trying to fight someone and getting in trouble with all teachers I came in touch with. I just let others tell me to do and what was right. So many people told me so much stuff, but all I thought they were doing was judging me. I did things that I knew I shouldn’t have done but I thought it was right because everyone else was doing it. Just because my friend didn’t like someone then I didn’t like them as well. As many people told me I need to take head of my life. Rumors were being spread and lies were being and they were all from the same people I hung around for years. I didn’t realize how bad, fake, and unreal someone could actually be once you separated yourself.
Being away from the drama started my 8th grade year in Marion. When seeing everyone that I hung with in the drama I used to be in was like amusing because they haven’t grew up enough to manage their own life and see that one person was controlling them. I focused more on my grades. Even more teachers liked me and I was on the right track.
My freshman year was the best. I finally had new friends, no drama, and getting better grades than I have ever had. No one judged me by what I had and had a great outlook on life. I will never forget what happened in the past but I regret it and will not hold grudges against anyone.

The Mystery of the Lost Reader
In my younger school days I loved to read. Every day you could catch me with a book in my hand. Never went outside as much, because my face was always in a book's pages. But, so happen that one day, my mind wandered away and I stopped reading. Then my 8th grade year, I started to read the series "Buford High". It caught the attention of mostly all teen students going through tough times. The book related of teens because it referred to life struggles and peer pressure like having sex, using and selling drug, being abused in any way, and raped.
These stories make people relate to the things that are in them. There should be more books like Buford High. If there are some, I would love to read them so I can get can back on track. My book reading level has probably gone down from like good to very bad. I didn't think about reading a book again, well only by force (homework assignments, reading out loud, passages, essays, etc.) of the teacher. No matter what I wouldn’t pick up another book because they would not be funny, or will be “LAME”. Not that the story won’t be good, but I don’t think so right at that moment in time.
Some of my family members used to come home in the middle of the day and see that I was reading, but wanted to disturb me. I didn't go to see what they wanted because usually I'll be on a part where things are happening and if I leave, I might miss something. Eventually, I did it and got right back to what I was doing. Days after days I went back and forth to the library to see what they had new to offer. Each book was even better with much mystery and excitement. One book was about a boy who had come back from a town to discover his brother’s murderer. He pretended to like everybody like girlfriend, a gang he joined, and the people of his surroundings. Towards the end of the end of the book, he fought the boys who kilted his brother and the girl who thought he liked her was eventually hurt in the end. She was even in the hospital because when the boy was fighting her cousin, she jumped in the middle and was stabbed in the stomach.
‘’A room without books is like a body without a soul.’’ ”Eventually I’ve stopped reading; last year was my last because I’ve never seen another book like it and I’ve never really hasn’t been looking for some. Recently, I have not been in a library, only for projects or I need to search for certain things. I will try to find more, but for now, I’ve been busy and haven’t had the time.

Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address
In the passage, Lincoln showed a tone of indigant . He was very angry because it was the time of war and even slavery was going on. Lincoln said "both looked for an easier triumph and a result less fundamental and astounding.'' He also stated that both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God, and each invokes his aid against the other. Meaning , that both are worshiping the same person but is asking for one another to die or for a bad thing to happen to them, but we shouldnt judge.

Difference
Being ME
People judge others based on their outside apperance not knowing anything about them and the condiions they may face or may have faced in the past. Everyone is not perect so you shouldn't judge someone like you are. We are all different in our own little way. Judging, teasing, and laughing gets you nowhere. It hurts feelings, break hearts and makes tears.

I Am
I Am....
I am someone who cares
I wonder why is there so much hate
I hear strong noises when I'm alone
I see how the world keeps changing
I want to make a difference
I AM SOMEONE WHO CARES!
I pretend that I don't hear negative comments
I feel like there's so much more
I touched the wing of an angel
I worry about the homeless and adoptive
I cry at someone else's misery
I AM SOMEONE WHO CARES!
I understand that everybody has ''hardtimes"
I say there will always be brighter days
I dream of going to a place with no more obstacles
I try to be the best I could be
I hope for all my dreams to come true
I am someone who cares
I wonder why is there so much hate
I hear strong noises when I'm alone
I see how the world keeps changing
I want to make a difference
I AM SOMEONE WHO CARES!
I pretend that I don't hear negative comments
I feel like there's so much more
I touched the wing of an angel
I worry about the homeless and adoptive
I cry at someone else's misery
I AM SOMEONE WHO CARES!
I understand that everybody has ''hardtimes"
I say there will always be brighter days
I dream of going to a place with no more obstacles
I try to be the best I could be
I hope for all my dreams to come true
I AM...SOMEONE WHO CARES !
