Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address

In the passage, Lincoln showed a tone of indigant . He was very angry because it was the time of war and even slavery was going on. Lincoln said "both looked for an easier triumph and a result less fundamental and astounding.'' He also stated that both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God, and each invokes his aid against the other. Meaning , that both are worshiping the same person but is asking for one another to die or for a bad thing to happen to them, but we shouldnt judge.
